How to Earn Asia Miles (Desktop)

  • Book the restaurant that stated offer Asia Miles for booking (Connected your OpenRice and Asia Miles Account)
  • You can check the Asia Miles miles on confirmation page once you book and attend the booking.
  • The Asia Miles from the booking will be transferred to your account in 7 working days after we have confirmed your attendance.

How to Earn Asia Miles(App) through OpenRice Pay

  • After dining at Cathay partner restaurants, press "pay" on the OpenRice App homepage
  • Scan the QR code
  • Select the applicable restaurant offer/payment subsidy (if applicable)
  • The bill will show the number of miles that can be obtained. The earnable miles will be automatically deposited into your linked Asia Miles account

How to Earn Asia Miles(App) through Table Booking

  • Book the restaurant that offer Asia Miles (Connected your OpenRice and Asia Miles Account)
  • You can check the Asia Miles miles on confirmation page once you book and attend the booking.
  • The Asia Miles from the booking will be transferred to your account in 7 working days after we have confirmed your attendance.

Disconnect Asia Miles Account (Desktop)

  • Choose "Contact Us" on the footer section
  • Choose "User Account" > submit with your OpenRice account, Asia Miles account number and account owner information. We will process your request within 7 working days (Please be informed that you may not get Asia Miles during the process)

  • Go "Setting" under "Me"
  • Go "Contact Us"
  • Choose "User Account" > submit with your OpenRice account, Asia Miles account number and OpenRice account owner information. We will process your request within 7 working days (Please be informed that you may not get Asia Miles during the process)

At this stage, members can check the online booking miles in my OpenRice. 

Payment in cash is not eligible to earn miles. However, members can also show their OpenRice member QR code (connected with Asia Miles account), and use their  Mastercard, Visa credit card, Alipay HK  to earn  1 mile for every HK$4 spent.

Starting from July 29, 2021, members can use OpenRice Pay to pay for meals at Cathay Pacific partner restaurants, or use the "miles plus cash" payment method through the Cathay Pacific app to offset part or all of the bills.

After dining at Cathay partner restaurants, members can use the "Miles Plus Cash" method by OpenRice Pay service via the Cathay App to flexibly choose to use cash and/or Asia Miles to offset part or all of their dining bills.

No, the points/ miles of the two plans cannot be transferred to each other.
